Kentucky Derby 80th Birthday Party!

My mom and my 3 aunts threw a Kentucky Derby themed birthday for my Grandma this weekend... and it was EPIC! They went all out, the party was a DIY masterpiece. 

Held at Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown, NY...  the invite instructed guests to wear the best derby attire and ladies were told to wear their hats!

The spinning musical flower birthday candle was a big hit!

Dessert table had homemade bourbon balls, horse shaped sugar cookies and cupcakes!

My Aunt Connie made this giant horseshoe!

Guests were given a rose lei to wear during the party.

 Lots of games were played and prizes included wine, mint julep kits, the game Hold Your Horses and movie night gift baskets.

The horses that adorned every table were generously donated by 4 year old little Miss Natalee. My Aunt Connie just added the roses!

This was such a fun day and it was wonderful to see so many people come out to celebrate my Grandmother!
