Tie Dye Snow Sensory Fun

We are getting hit with another big snow storm tomorrow! Perfect time to share this sensory activity that is perfect for days where snow has your kiddos stuck inside... Tie Dye Snow!

This kept my one and a half year old happily busy for almost 2 hours! I actually had to go outside a few times to get more snow for him!

All you need is a bin or a tub for the snow, little bottles, and water mixed with food coloring! I also put out measuring cups so he could dig and scoop.

These bottles are perfect for little hands and I didn't have to refill them. They were large enough to last the entire 2 hours!

Have fun
and
fingers crossed that this is the last snow storm this winter!

  2. This is such a clever way to turn a snow day into something kids can actually enjoy indoors. I love that the setup is so simple, but it still gives little ones plenty to explore with scooping, squeezing and mixing the colors. Two hours of entertainment for a one-and-a-half-year-old is seriously impressive! I can imagine the colorful snow being just as fun for older kids too, especially if they get to experiment with different color combinations. glorycasino
